A couple of Good Guy ISP'S

On December 14^th the Federal Communications Commission voted to approve a plan to repeal Obama-era net neutrality protections. Those protections, approved by the FCC in 2015, were meant to keep the internet open and fair. For example, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) were prohibited from speeding up or slowing down traffic from specific websites and apps. Under the approved plan, the FCC would do away with rules preventing ISPs from blocking or slowing down access to online content. The FCC would also eliminate a rule preventing providers from prioritizing their own content.

In the week since the plan was approved, s2s has already received notifications from two ISPs (Hargray Communications and Cincinnati Bell) stating their commitment to their customers to provide a free and open internet regardless of the FCC\'s plans or actions. Cincinnati Bell promised they would not charge the customer a premium to access content that is freely accessible over the Internet, stating their job is to maintain the connection and the customer should decide how to leverage that connection. Hargray\'s message was similar with a promise to not charge the customer a premium to access any content that is otherwise freely accessible over the Internet, acknowledging customers pay them to maintain their connection and the customer should choose what content they want to access with that connection.
